One of the nation'smost respected historically black college and university newspapers, The Hornet Tribune has won regional and national awards. In June of 2002, 2003 and 2004, the Black College Communications Association awarded The Hornet Tribune first place in general excellence. The Hornet Tribune received 10 awards at the SEJC convention, including top news story, top sports story and front-page layout.

Subscribe to the print edition.The Hornet Tribune is published on Saturday during the school year (130 issues). Papers will be mailed in an envelope once a week via first class mail. Call 334-229-4208 for current subscription rates.
